There are a lot of great websites out there for folks interested in active nonviolence and social justice.  We have highlighted just a few of importance to our work as part of the Minnesota Fellowship.

www.forusa.org

This is the official home of the United States Fellowship of Reconciliation.  The national FOR website contains educational resources, action alerts, a link to the FOR bookstore, and information on FOR programs in such areas as disarmament, racial, economic & gender justice, Iraq, Latin America, Israel/Palestine, peace internships and more.

http://www.ifor.org/

This is the International Fellowship of Reconciliation’s homepage.  With headquarters in the Netherlands, the IFOR has operational relations status with the United Nations and has branches, groups and affiliates in over 40 countries around the world.

http://www.osb.org/for/

This website links to the Minnesota Fellowship of Reconciliation’s Quarterly Newsletter, the North Country Peace Builder.  We welcome article submissions, letter and comments!

www.iwillnotkill.org

The “I Will Not Kill” campaign aims to educate high school and college age youth, especially youth of color, and youth in rural and impoverished white communities, and works to:
· raise awareness of resistance to war
· educate youth about the impacts of war
· oppose a future draft
· dismantle the selective service system and promote a culture of life
· promote conscientious objection to war as a positive alternative to violence and a way to strengthen and uplift communities and all of civil society

http://www.mapm.org/

The Minnesota Alliance of Peacemakers’ mission is to strengthen the effectiveness of the peace and justice community in Minnesota by enabling member organizations to share their resources, insights and ideas and devise cooperative strategies to accomplish common goals.  The MAP website offers links to 61 different peace organizations in Minnesota.

http://www.forusa.org/programs/pti/default.html

This website links to the Fellowship of Reconciliation Peacemaker Training Institute (PTI), located here in Minnesota.  PTI conducts trainings across the country to help young people (15-25) become more effective peace and justice activists.
